I’m creating this blog to record my process for creating Apex. A new setting I will run to begin with in the Pathfinder 1E system and once I have the world usable I will start making my own system.
I’m starting this by Starting at the beginning with a creation story.
Apex Begins
In the Beginning there were 2 cosmic dragons known as Day and Night who had a Egg the two collected dust and debris from around the galaxy and placed it around there egg. Making the world of apex. Then they encircled it to keep it warm.
Next I’m coming up with a pantheon gods for the people of the world to believe in. I decided the people of Apex believed in 10 deities each with 3 aspects. And that’s as far as i’ve gotten on deities.
Next I developed archetypes; these are groups the players can join at a cost. The costs are listed in their write ups but they also give help resources and allies.
Next will be lands and governments of the different countries. The only one I’ve done any work on so far is the summer valley. A hidden valley where the people live under the rule of dragons in a utopian society.
